The Genesis Series |
This was the first Enertia® home design- appropriately named Genesis. It was the beginning of an incredible building concept- using the structure itself to do double-duty as energy storage. This two-story series ranges from 1486 to 3272 square feet, plus 1008 to 2016 square feet of recreational space in the basements. The signature step down South roofline allows clerestories in the master bedroom for additional light and ventilation. Vista fronts are optional an all Genesis series homes.

The Arcadia Series |
Arcadia optimizes space and volume in a one-story Enertia® home by placing the stairway in the sunspace. The Arcadia home packages are our most affordable and simplest to assemble. Despite the small size, Arcadia has many innovative features such as a step-down entry and a dormer sunspace, and is a visually interesting home. Each of the Arcadia models can be built as shown or in mirror-image, and there is an alternative South walk-out elevation for each.

The Aquarius Series |
Aquarius homes have an attached tower, preserving interior space and enabling a walk-out sunspace balcony on the second floor- a solar space for the master bedroom. The stairway wraps around a massive central fireplace with a vaulted ceiling open-to-below. There are two versions: 2075 square feet and 2519 square feet with three to four bedrooms. 1348 or 1578 square feet of recreational space are available in the basements.

The Equinox Series |
An economical two-story rectangular home with a simple roofline, the Equinox series is popular among do-it-yourselfers. Five standard models range from 1394 to 2282 square feet, 2 to 5 bedrooms, and 1008 to 1440 square feet of daylit useable basement. The unobstructed south roof is optimum for Photovoltaic’s to make the Equinox a Zero Energy or Off-Grid Home.

Indian Summer |
This is the least expensive Enertia® house to build, because of the small 24’x28’ footprint. Indian Summer is popular in Mountain ski areas since the whole 672 square foot basement can be a hose-down dressing, staging, booting-up area. Above is 1018 square feet that can be fitted as one bedroom with a loft, or two bedrooms. The self-heating feature is perfect for weekend use- no caretaker needed, and no worries about frozen pipes.

Brandywine |
These are our most popular full-time basic homes. Brandywines have two stories with a main level master bedroom suite, and up to three bedrooms upstairs. There are two models at 1940 and 2420 sq.ft. With the stairway on the North, the sunspace wall can be partial to all-glass. Second story internal windows are aligned, according to your latitude, with the skylights for maximum light without heat loss. Optional south dormers can be added for architectural/visual interest and more daylight.

Southern Pines |
This home has the master suite isolated by a solid gluelam timber wall, and with its own entry off the sunspace, and with its own separate convection loop for independent temperature control. Based on the Great-room concept with open ceilings and a balcony loft, Southern Pines can be finished as a 3 or 4 bedroom home. The huge flat south-face roof can carry enough Photovoltaic’s to make this a true Zero Energy Home.

Southern Comfort |
The first Southern Comfort was a custom home designed to use the heavy timber structure for visual appeal with multiple winding stairways and walkways. The plan became a standard- but the Craftsman-style details, doors, and decoration are available options. It is Enertia’s largest standard model at 3,789 sq. ft., plus 2,704 sq. ft. rec/family/utility area below. The master bedroom suite has its own sunspace entry and convection loop, but connects with an internal catwalk to the main balcony.

Blue Mountain |
This was an exercise in designing a visually-interesting window energy wall for the great room, behind a simple, functional, sunspace that acts as a hallway. Blue Mountain is 1808 exciting square feet within a simple 28’x44’ economical footprint. It is typically built with a walk-out basement that adds 1232 square feet of garden, family, and utility space.

Custom Homes |
Larger Homes, Townhouses, Office Buildings- are all custom structures. As are modifications of standard models that involve a change of footprint, or stairway location. Custom does not necessarily mean expensive- while we charge for the custom design work we still price the kit by the linear foot of gluelam, internal spans, and number of corners, just like our standard packages. Custom Design can be great value because you get exactly what you want.
